And it turns out IE totally messes everything up because it doesn't have proper support for the PNG format. The images just appear black...


Please, please go and sign Proper PNG Support for IE Petition, not that it'll help much, we'll have to design for IE 6.0 for another 5 years or so...


I've just discovered if you save the image in 8-bit PNG with standard transparency then IE deals with it, but you lose the nice anti-aliasing against all background colours, not such a big problem for me as I want it on a white background anyhow. Had to get into Photoshop to do it too, will have to find out how to do it with The Gimp.
